Ultimate Dinosaur Games for Kids

Welcome to the best page for Ultimate Birthdays Dinosaur Games!

You are going to come across over 10 excellent games you could easily integrate into your party plan.

They are easy to understand and setup. So what are we waiting for? Let's get started on planning the games section for your Ultimate Birthday Party!!!

Before we get started I have listed a few survival tips to help your party run smoother:

First, make sure you select games you think your child will love and pick some back-ups, just in case. Next, setup a schedule of events before the party on which games will be played, what order and a time limit. Finally, don’t forget the “fun” factor in the party. Not every child is going to win every event, so make sure each event is designed to be “fun”, “loud” and “enjoyable”.

Hopefully these tips will help reduce your party stress and allow you to enjoy the party. So have fun at the Ultimate Party!

I have designed each of these games to fit perfectly in your Ultimate Dinosaur Theme…So start scrolling and oh yeah, don’t forget the camera!!!

* Dinosaur Egg Relay: You are going to need a spoon for each child and a lot of hard boiled eggs. Divide the children up into two groups and give each child a spoon and each team an egg. When you give the signal for the children to start, they must run to the other side of the room and back balancing the egg on their spoon. After they return, they must transfer the egg onto the next child’s spoon. The first team to have all the children cross the finish line wins.

* Dinosaur Hunt: Purchase mini dinosaurs either from the dollar store or a party store. Hide them throughout the party area before the party. Give the children a certain amount of time to hunt and find as many dinosaurs as they can. Give a prize for whoever collects the most.

* Pin the tooth on the Dinosaur: Enlarge an image of an open mouth Tyrannosaurus Rex. Make enough teeth for each child to have one. Blindfold a child and let them attempt to put the tooth back in the mouth. Give a prize to the child who is the closest.

* Dinosaur Tail: This is a simple game of tag. Start out with one child being “it”. The child runs around chasing the other children until they tag one. The child they tag then holds hands with them as they run around trying to tag more children (this becomes the tail). From then on, whoever gets tagged must join the tail and try to tag other children.

* Egg Hunt: Before the party, purchase as many plastic eggs as you can. You can put little prizes in some of the eggs if you want. Hide the eggs around the party area before the party. Then when it’s time to play, have the children hunt for as many eggs as they can find.

* Musical Eggs: Start out by cutting out enough large eggs in white poster board so there is one less than the number of guests. Put them in a circle and play a CD with prehistoric dinosaur music on it. When the music stops, the person who isn’t on an egg is out and has to go to the T-Rex Pit!

* Dinosaur Coloring Pages: Give each guest an activity booklet with coloring pages to do either at your party or to take home in a goody bad. Check out our Ultimate Dinosaur Coloring Pages.

* Hot Dinosaur: Here is a great twist on the wonderful game of Hot Potato. Using a toy dinosaur, have the children pass it in a circle while some music is playing. When the music stops, the child holding the Dinosaur is out and needs to go to the T-Rex Pit. The winner of the game is the last child sitting and should get to keep the dinosaur!

* “T”, “T”, “Rex”: Have you ever heard of Duck, Duck, Goose? Great, then this is the same game, but instead uses the words T, T, Rex. If you haven’t heard of the game, here are the instructions. Put the children in a circle sitting down. One child will go around the circle tapping each child’s head and saying “T”. They continue until they tap a child’s head and say “Rex”. As soon as they say “Rex”, they must run around the circle and sit down in the spot where the child who was tapped was sitting before getting tagged.

* Roaring Contest: Children love to be loud and when they are rewarded for being loud, they love it! Have each child give their best dinosaur roar to the judges. Try and have enough categories where everyone can win. Here are some categories to use: Cutest Roar, Loudest Roar, Saddest Roar, Squeakiest Roar, Most Realistic Roar, etc.
