Are you ready to start finding the Ultimate Movie Child Party Games?

I hope so, because I have developed 10 of the best Movie themed birthday party games for you to incorporate into your child’s Ultimate Party.

So what are you waiting for…start scrolling to find the best Movie games on the net! Just remember have fun and happy partying!

Having a movie party is a little different than most parties. Since you will probably want to incorporate a movie into the party, hence the name, there probably won’t be much time for other games/piñatas. I still gave you some ideas for games just in case the movie is short or you have different plans for your “movie party”. Either way, have fun and enjoy yourself.

Also, I would suggest giving the children fake money before and during the party to allow them to purchase snacks from the concession stand. As you read the games, you will understand what I’m talking about. Good Luck!

Before we get started I have listed a few survival tips to help your party run smoother:

First, make sure you select games you think your child will love and pick some back-ups, just in case. Next, setup a schedule of events before the party on which games will be played, what order and a time limit. Finally, don’t forget the “fun” factor in the party. Not every child is going to win every event, so make sure each event is designed to be “fun”, “loud” and “enjoyable”.

Hopefully these tips will help reduce your party stress and allow you to enjoy the party. So have fun at the Ultimate Party!

Oh yeah, don’t forget the camera!!!

* Pin the Popcorn on the Bucket: On a piece of poster board, draw a large bucket for popcorn. Make a popcorn kernel for each child to place in the bucket of popcorn. One at a time, blindfold the children and let them attempt to place their popcorn kernel in the bucket. Remember to award the children fake money to buy their movie tickets and snacks!

* Name Game: This game is designed for older children. When the children arrive, place a post-it note on their back with a name of a celebrity. As the children begin to mingle they can give each other clues about who is on their back. Award the children with toys or fake money if they can correctly guess the celebrity on their back.

* Box Office: How are the children going to get into the movie? They need to purchase tickets of course. Setup a ticket booth outside the room where the movie will be played. Have the birthday child sell the tickets, they’ll love this. After they have purchased their tickets, send them to the concession stand.

* Concession Stand: Now that the children have some money to spend, let’s give them a place to spend it. Either in kitchen or any other area, setup a fake concession stand. You can sell gummy hot dogs and hamburgers, mini candy bars, bubble gum, sodas (8 oz. versions work the best), fresh popped popcorn, etc. The children will feel so big purchasing their own food with their own money.

* Movie Awards: What child doesn’t want to feel like they have won something? Here is your chance to put a perfect ending to an Ultimate party. Before you sell the children their movie tickets, put a different number on each ticket. Remind the children to hold on to their movie tickets they purchased, because their will be awards given out at the end. Before the party is over, write all the numbers from the tickets on pieces of paper and place in a bucket. As the children get ready to leave, pick numbers out of the bucket and read them. Whoever has the ticket gets to pick out their good bag first. Continue reading until everyone has their goody bag. The children will really feel like they have won something!
